Experience
I have much experience in tutoring College Math; however, I am very knowledgeable on a broad spectrum of Mathematic Topics ranging from Elementary to College Math. Throughout my time as a Teacher Assistant, I gained much experience that allowed me to become very comfortable in a tutor-student relationship that also allowed me to learn how to build and maintain that relationship. I was a teacher assistant for 5 consecutive semesters as I assisted a class of 20 students per semester. Moreover, during this time I also did private one-on-one sessions with students who sought my help outside the classroom. I am very approachable, genuine, patient, dedicated and responsible. I do believe these traits have assisted me to be able to build great tutor- students relationships. It also added to my success as a tutor in that the first semester I was a teacher assistant for the supplemental math course the passing the average student score increased by 20 percentage points. When I took the course for which I became a teacher assistant, I scored in the top 20 in a class of 200 students.
