As a tutor, I am committed to helping my students develop a deeper understanding of their material, as well as cultivate a love for learning that helps them improve their self-esteem and seek knowledge inside and outside of the classroom. My teaching style includes helping students master difficult concepts by walking them through the process and providing guidance when necessary, while encouraging them to use their own knowledge to solve the problems in front of them. As a tutor, I work hard to teach my students the importance of critical thinking so that they learn how to come up with creative solutions to problems they experience in academia and out in the world. My experience tutoring has given me the opportunity to help students from all walks of life and skill levels improve their understanding of various math, science, and language-related subjects. When I am not spending time tutoring, I am usually working in the aerospace industry as a quality engineer. Outside of work, I like to spend time with my family, and read books that inspire me to learn more. I also like to spend time with my daughter, explore more of what this word has to offer, and engage in various personal and professional development activities.
