I tutor in a variety of subjects, with personal favorites in history and literature. Currently, I am studying history in Los Angeles at Mount Saint Mary's University, which means I am excellent in assisting students in preparing for AP History exams (both United States and European). After finishing my undergraduate degree, I plan to continue my education by pursuing an advanced degree that focuses on the Protestant Reformation, with a focus on the connections between the physical revolution and the religious beliefs during the Peasants War. The eras of the Revolutionary War and the Progressive are a special interest of mine. I had a hard time deciding on a major in history or one in literature because I also have a passion for literature. The classics are a favorite read of mine, especially Jane Austen and the spooky stories by Nikolai Gogol. I am also well versed in Hemingway and other classic authors. I have great essay writing skills and enjoy helping writers at all stages of the process. From organizing ideas to a final read through, I am available to help on essays. I have experience in tutoring for essay writing on standardized testing, and I am also an approved PSAT Critical Reading and SAT Verbal tutor.
