I've always been interested in teaching, and have a knack for identifying where people get stuck when trying to fully grasp a concept. I have a fairly broad liberal arts education background, specializing in writing. My core classes were in Politics and Film Studies, but I also studied History, Philosophy, Economics, and English. I spent my time outside of class as a writer and editor for several on-campus publications. I spent two years as the managing editor of the Michigan Journal of International Affairs, where I would review and edit all submissions for clarity, strength of argument, and grammatical and factual accuracy.
