ExperienceThe diverse areas of my studies coupled with an outgoing and eager personality have enabled me to excel in tutoring. I inspire and motivate my students while imbuing them with excellent study skills and work habits. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Neurology and Child Development from Elmhurst College, which left me with some extremely useful skills for the time I spend as a tutor. I am qualified to teach a wide variety of subjects, including advanced levels of algebra, calculus, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, statistics, reading comprehension, writing, essay writing, grammar and mechanics, arithmetic, English, psychology, and social sciences. Because of the time I spent working with young children as an after-school childcare professional, I am extremely experienced in teaching and interacting with kids of a younger age. I believe that each and every child is entitled to a great education, and that each and every child should be given every opportunity to excel. As a tutor, I have the privilege of playing a part in this process, and ensuring that they are learning at an accelerated level is something that gives me great satisfaction.
