Education
Cal State University Northridge, majors/psychology/child development. Bachelor's degree in psychology & child development in 2004. Master's degree in Marriage Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena in 2008. Worked in Score Educational Center tutoring children in all elementary subjects.
Experience
Worked as a private tutor in home tutoring in math. I would like to be a tutor because I enjoy teaching and guiding students to achieve their academic goals. Relevant classes I have taken; all psychology classes, anatomy, physiology, mathematics, pre-algebra, college algebra. I have a master's degree as well in Marriage, Family Therapy. I love meeting new people and discussing what parents would like to see what subjects their son/daughter would like to improve on. Helping young students achieve their academic goals is a passion of mine that has motivated me to continue working as a teacher/tutor. It's so rewarding to see a young student learn from a tutor and to be able to apply that knowledge in their future gives a sense of appreciation to have a family's son/daughter trust a tutor to help guide them to a better future.
