I attended Cal State- Northridge, graduating in 2014 with my bachelor's degree in microbiology. I also sat for the MCAT in anticipation of applying to medical schools. After I passed the exam, I decided to spend some time away from academics to ensure that I want to study medicine and pursue it as a career. In addition to tutoring students privately in math and science topics, I volunteer to tutor underprivileged families and homeless youth. I also research cancer immunology at the City of Hope Medical Center. In my free time, I play several musical instruments, read, listen to music, and play video games. I'm excited to help students build a better understanding of science and math and achieve their goals.
